Lucy Ford Elixir was born out of my own journey with skin that refused to settle. For years, nothing on the shelves felt safe, gentle, or effective- everything seemed to overwhelm and irritate instead of nourish. I knew there had to be a better way.

When I moved up to Alaska, the extreme climate pushed my skin to its breaking point. The cold, dry air left it reactive, fragile, and desperate for real nourishment. That’s when I began creating my own formulas — simple, pared down, and built from nutrient-rich botanicals that truly worked with my skin instead of against it.

What started as an unscented face and body butter just for myself soon grew into a line of clean, consciously scented blends that uplift the senses and strengthen the skin. Each formula is more than a product — it’s a ritual of renewal. The fragrances that reminded me of back home in California. Ocean-kissed air, sun-warmed citrus, and soft coastal florals — uplifting yet gentle, carrying the same skin-healing benefits while capturing the feeling of home.

When I eventually returned to California, I realized this wasn’t just something my skin needed — it was something others were searching for, too. Simple, effective skincare that feels as indulgent as it is healing.

From the very beginning, I’ve stayed true to my values: sustainability, integrity, and intention. Every jar is poured into glass to protect both the formula and the planet. Every batch is made in limited runs to ensure freshness, potency, and care.

What started as a necessity in Alaska has become my way of helping others feel nourished, confident, and at home in their own skin.
